GMSECT: Genome-wide Massive Sequence Exhaustive Comparison Tool, was developed by me when I was working as a Post Doc Fellow at The Hospital for Sick Children affiliated to University of Toronto, Canada, although it was much later when I took out time to publish it when I was Schiller International University, Germany. The tool is capable of comparing massive sequences and conduct a dynamic programming search to look for matches having a score above a desired threshold. Such dynamic programming is used in bioinformatics for structural variation & copy number variation detection of the genome.
